Everyone knows you’re LIVING when you’ve been spotted in the Livingston Chronicle!

Top – Friday evening my friend Doug celebrated his birthday – gourmand, oenophile and Chelsea-dweller that he is –at Fig & Olive, a bright, airy, Mediterranean wine-haven in the Meatpacking District. Along with his sister and brother-in-law in town from Maine, his celebrants included Luis and Christopher (seen on his left and right), a posse of sharply dressed Latino men, and a few white guys for texture. The rosé and goat cheese were wonderful and his sister and I could not get enough olives.
